Remembering  the 2019 Tour of GINGERBREAD HOMES.

2019 was our first year hosting the Tour of Gingerbread Homes.  This is a friendly competition to raise financial support for the selected charities.  Trophies were offered to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.  Winners were chosen through a People's Choice Awards.  After having viewed all the the gingerbread house entries, voters would cast their vote through donation.  There was no limit to the amount of donation.  At the end of the event whoever received the most votes via donations were the winners.


100% of the donations was split between The Medina Battered Women's Shelter & Yahab.

Benefitted CHARITIES

The Medina County Battered Women's Shelter and Yahab through the generosity of the people of Medina and others who visited and voted in the Gingerbread House People's Choice Awards were each given a check for $300.00.


The Shelter is self explanatory by its name.  Yahab (https://www.yahab.org) is a local 501c3: The mission of YAHAB is to seek and find those who need assistance, and to furnish those individuals (single moms, the destitute, the poor, etc.) with the basic necessities of living by receiving donations (clothing, housewares items, shoes, funding etc.) to assist those who are in need of it.
